1. About the Company

SHH plc is a new company, founded by RM and the M group to acquire and develop businesses in the B2B services sector. The Company recently held its Initial Public Offering, raising £32.5m and is seeking an initial platform acquisition valued at between £250m and £1.5bn.
M is an award winning alternative asset manager focused on active value investment strategies in companies up to £1.5 billion of equity value. The investment proposition is predicated on the belief that significant value can be created in selected industries in the public markets through a process of timely consolidation.
M invests in and works alongside first class operational management with strong track records. We pursue low leverage “buy and build” strategies, applying private equity disciplines to publicly-quoted businesses.
2. Purpose and Scope

The Executive Assistant will complete a broad range of administrative tasks for the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the Company. The post holder will support the CEO in co-ordinating and facilitating travel and communication professionally and efficiently. The Assistant must be fluent in English.
The Executive Assistant will work closely and effectively with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up actions appropriately. You will manage the diary of the CEO and of the Company, having a sense for the issues taking place and keeping the CEO updated.
3. Key Accountabilities and Role Outputs

Responsibilities will be expected to be developed and finalised over time and will include but will not be restricted to:
Executive Support
• Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; preparing correspondence that is often confidential; arranging complex travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings on the road.
• Responsible for plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO’s schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" role for direct access to the CEO’s time and office.
• To communicate directly, and maturely on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, Marwyn, investors, staff and others, on matters related to the Company.
• Responsible for researching, prioritising, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. To determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
• Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
• Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including updating and formatting PowerPoint presentations, drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate CEO's ability to effectively lead the Company.
• Prioritises conflicting needs; handles matters swiftly, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion.

Board Support and Liaison
• Serves as the CEO’s administrative liaison to the board of directors.
• Assists board members with travel arrangements, hotels and meal planning as required.
• Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all board members.
• Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations regarding board and board committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format.

Communications & Partnerships
• Responds to requests for materials regarding the CEO and the organisation in general.
• Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to external stake holders.
• Follows up on contacts made by the CEO and supports the cultivation of ongoing relationships.

1. Person Specification - Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential Desirable
Qualifications • Min 5 GCSE at grades A-C including Maths & English at A or B • Educated to Degree level
Experience • At least five years’ experience working as an Executive Assistant at a senior level
• Excellent IT and systems skills, including intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly with PowerPoint and Word
• Proven experience in handling confidential information with discretion, be adapting to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response • Experience of working in the financial sector
Knowledge and Skills • Fluent in English
• Ability to establish effective relationships
• Emotional maturity
• Ability to anticipate needs, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
• Proactive, ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
