We are recruiting for a two Process Improvement Consultant's to join our Client site. The role is based in Liverpool with UK travel/assignments.

Salary up to £66,188.00 per annum.

Reporting to: Managing Director Head Office Complaints
Location: Liverpool with UK travel

Role purpose

To support effective Onsite Client delivery, a key objective is to help clients become more efficient. In doing so this raise standards thereby enabling them to safeguard their reputation, mitigate regulatory risk and ensure positive outcomes for customers.
The core focus is the delivery of Process Improvement initiatives which may involve working as both a member of the delivery team or as a sole consultant. This role is responsible for reviewing current policy & procedures and delivering improved policy & procedures which make the business more efficient. This includes where with the addition of Technical support (Automation and Robotics) the process can be significantly improved, thus reducing overall cost to serve.
The role of the Process Improvement Consultant is to play a key part in identifying and then delivering against Process Improvements and supporting the operational delivery. The Consultant is responsible for the ongoing delivery of workstreams within projects for our onsite clients, whilst identifying and crystallising new opportunities.
A firm grasp on the ‘customer journey’ is imperative and a detailed knowledge of how this can be improved through utilising process improvement initiatives.

Job description

* To support the delivery of Process Improvement with a broad focus across a range of Business Improvement areas, including but not limited to: data manipulation and extraction, process re-engineering and optimisation, programme management or change management
* Responsible for supporting sales bids and other business development activities. This will include visiting client sites to review / validate current operating procedures and look for improvements where this can be included in any new bid
* Act as workstream manager on small and medium sized projects, being accountable for the continuous improvement design and delivery of that workstream
* Play an active role in delivery with client organisations predominately supporting onsite delivery, however, the role will also require the role holder to be on client sites
* Work alongside the Head of BI, Head of Operational Change and Head of Operations developing an understanding of the Operational delivery division and to deliver against agreed contractual Continuous Improvement requirements

* Delivery on utilisation targets in line with the agreed business plan which are to deliver as per the agreed Business Plan
* Development of good working relationships with other key stakeholders within the business to ensure a joined up and collaborative proposition
* Delivery against Contractual Requirements for individual client engagements

Person specification

* Broad knowledge and experience in Retail Financial Services related issues
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualified and working towards becoming a Black Belt
* Experience of dealing at a senior level (Heads of, Senior Manager, Director) to build relationships and facilitate the future selling of consulting projects
* Experience of translating operational requirements into delivery solutions
* A strong track record of delivery in a project environment
* Broad understanding of the role and remit of the FCA including both current and emerging issues affecting firms and its approach to supervision
* Excellent communicator with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
* Strong project and organisational skills
* Holder of Financial Services, Business Process and Project Management Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
